Bodie Bodie has been tattooing since 1999, and was lucky enough to get his start at Electric Ladyland in New Orleans, Louisiana in the grand old U.S of A. After working round the US for 4 years Bodie decided he needed a change of scenery. Bodie jumped on a plane and ventured back to Australia, where he found the new and modern styles of tattooing to be in their infancy. Bodie’s specialty is Old School, American Traditional. A definite flair for this style is shown in all his tattoos as well as his artwork. With the philosophy of ‘BOLD WILL HOLD’ Bodie’s tattoos are just that. Bright, Solid and BOLD. Bodie like’s to work one on one with his customers to develop that ‘one of a kind’ custom tattoo. Bodie also likes to keep the atmosphere before, during and after the tattoo, light and easy, just to make sure the experience is as good for the customer as it is for him. Bodie’s passion for tattoos is shown in his tireless efforts to create custom designs, shadow boxes and watercolour prints, which don the bodies and walls of many a customer and friend. In his free time Bodie likes to customize motorcycles going more for that 1940’s 50’s bobber feel. Bodie is also builder and owner of Nickel N Dime tattoo machine’s and loves spending time with his lady Safari and their two dogs Peek-a-boo and Fang.
